Mthethwa hat-trick steers AmaZulu into Nedbank Cup Last 16

Centre-back Sandile Mthethwa scored the first hat-trick of his career as he helped AmaZulu to a 5-1 victory over third-tier Mighty Eagles in their Nedbank Cup Last 32 game at the King Zwelithini Stadium on Tuesday.
Mthethwa had not scored for Usuthu before his treble, which included a penalty for the third goal as Durban club cruised to a comfortable victory.
Mondli Mbanjwa and Etiosa Ighodaro were also on the scoresheet for the Betway Premiership side, who hold the unwanted record of appearing in six previous Nedbank Cup competition finals and winning none, their last a 3-0 defeat to BidVest Wits in 2010.
Awonke Mahlabela scored what proved a consolation for Eastern Cape side Mighty Eagles.

Stellenbosch FC had to come from behind to defeat second-tier Kruger United in an entertaining game in the Winelands.

Onyedikachi Ononogbu put Kruger in front in the second half and it looked as though a shock as on the cards.

But youngster Langelihle Phili scored his first senior goal and Devin Titus got an eighth of the season in all competitions to turn the game on its head.

SuperSport United ran out 2-0 winners over Magesi FC, the first time this season they have scored more than one goal in a game.

Vincent Pule put them ahead against the Carling Knockout holders, before Christian Saile netted on debut following his move from Kaizer Chiefs.

The final game in the Last 32 will be played on Wednesday when 2019 winners TS Galaxy host third-tier CR Vasco da Gama at the Mbombela Stadium (KO 19h00).
